Obviously they have the Cartel as what appears to be the only food and drink outlet on the upper level . Have used this place a few times as no other choice. Always just so so. Very recent visit and as always everyone is friendly and happy …
I use this outlet most times when I am at Waterloo and arrive too early for my departure. Admittedly I only order the Latte Coffee, which I have always found acceptable. The attraction for me is the location. Seated high above the departure board, there is almost always an available seat. There are plenty of other places for food.
I visited a coffee shop inside Waterloo Station. The only positive aspect was its convenient location. Unfortunately, both the drinks and food were very mediocre. I couldn't finish my meal as it was quite unpalatable, and I left after eating less than half. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Stopped by Benugo in Waterloo last Sunday evening and had a great coffee. It tasted really good, service was quick, and the lady serving me was lovely. Definitely recommend.
Had a very good salad and excellent cup of coffee whilst soaking up the atmosphere on the Balcony at Waterloo. The food is varied and attractive. The system of ordering and picking up is mildly chaotic, and takes up a sizeable amount of space. Apart from that, a delightful spot.
Friendly service and great location, however terrible matcha latte. Surprised they offer it when it’s obviously not quality or drinkable. Not sure the barista’s are trained how to make it properly as they seem to try to hide the matcha taste with syrup flavoring. Disheartening
