The best chicken kebab I ever had, super tender and homemade cabbage

On the morning of October 12th 2022 I was warmly greeted and welcomed by two female staff members at this location. One of them kindly prepared a delicious Cortado for me during my visit.

We stopped in for a sit down to break up our afternoon, friendly staff and plenty of seats downstairs but only one toilet with a queue right by the tables. Food and drinks were fine.

I had my usual Red Berries summer cooler and a piece of blueberry cake very delish as usual and mind you I haven't in this branch for years and it the service in this branch as usual absolutely exceptional.

A standard Costa, usually suspects available to order. Good points store was clean, covid aware, staff were friendly. Downside there is hardly any outside seating and people using the seats don't seem to have anything from the shop.

We were served by a boy from Afghanistan and a girl from Italy and they were brilliant, the barista made our coffee exactly as we asked for it (we are kinda picky tbh) they were really nice while we were waiting for our drinks and really made it a great experience, I don't normally buy coffee from Costa but next time I go down to candem I will pass by and try to get a cuppa tea or coffee with them. Honestly these guys were great. I wish that all Costa staff would be like them! Keep it up!
