Sapid Coffee

Went here for a coffee and something to eat with a friend, and we were both perfectly satisfied with our drinks and the cheese and sundried tomato toasty we ordered. The staff were friendly and gave off a nice sense of community. We sat in the back garden area which was cute, however, from there, we could awkwardly hear every bit of noise coming from the toilets… luckily it didn't smell, so we were able to just laugh it off in the end. For the most part, I was satisfied. I'll go back, but I'll just sit inside next time.

Do you know the one about unimaginable? "Mr President, my men are doing everything possible! ... to which he replies: "I don't want the possible, I want the impossible!: It is almost inhuman task to find a non-hipster cafe at the peak of hipsterism in East London. Well: I did! Sapid cafe under the newish management toned down the glitz and added not just local. It rediscovered: i-n-d-i-v-i-d-u-a-l ... My macchiato is hard or inconvenient for the most of coiffured baristas to make. However the team of two brother do it with ease and to a perfection. My schiumato looks and tastes great. (schiuma = foam) ... I do not come often, yet they know from the entrance door what i am having.

This is the cafe to go to if you’re looking to hit the books for any reason: an upcoming assignment, learning a language, make a real dent in your book. I don’t know how this has become THE place for it, but you’re around other studious, industrious types here, so it really feels like you can get it done, regardless of what your IT is. The coffee and food is decent but for me it takes a sideline to the atmosphere which is streets ahead of other cafes in fostering a conducive environment for knuckling down on tackling the long road ahead.
