A perfect haven for meat lover has to be a steak house. Online search for a halal steak place in London found us heading to Norbury to try Steakout. A short walk from Norbury train station brought us to this place teeming with people. We ordered a rib eye with pepper sauce and sides of spicy fries and a T bone with spicy hot sauce. Absolutely loved the steak, cooked just like we wanted ( one medium rare and the other one medium), with wonderful flavors , succulent meat and the aroma itself would make anyone hungry. The only drawback ( which I feel is a major one) was that the steaks did not come with accompaniments like sauteed vegetables and carbs ( mashed potato or fries) . You could buy it separately. But considering this to be a steak outlet and the prices for the steaks itself I was definitely expecting it to come as a proper platter. This is our regular steak-house restaurant where the service is good, and the starters, steaks, burgers and chips are cooked to perfection. It compare very well with other steak-houses and many of the more expensive restaurants. I would recommend the chicken-cheese balls, the chicken wings, or the chicken strips for starters. As for main course the buttermilk chicken burger and any of the steaks are worth trying together with the spicy chips or the sweet potato fries; delicious. Steakout has now started doing desserts if you have any space left after the starters and main course 😉. Had another great steak dinner at Steakout with the family - very tasty 😋.
