Went in a few days ago Asked for a Doughnut a cream bun and a slice of that cake OVER THERE ,The bloke serving me Said "You can have a Doughnut a cream bun But not A SLICE OF THAT CAKE OVERTHERE.
He again replied You can have a Doughnut a cream bun but you can't have a slice of that cake over there.

Love this place- food is great and prices are affordable. The young man with the corn rows gives great service, as do all of the staff.

This is my local branch of Wenzel and it never dissapoints. Food is delicious and the staff always very helpful and kind. Thanks to the assistant manager Maria and the rest of the staff

I was very pleasantly surprised by Wenzel's. I have to confess that I was expecting it to be a little bit like Gregg's, however, their sandwiches are awesome - fresh, flavourful, and great value for money. Their doughnuts, carrot cupcakes, and sweet treats are also really nice, however, the product that surprised me the most is their raisin bread. I never thought I'd enjoy it but it's a surprisingly pleasant combination! I think Wenzel's baked goods are definitely worth a try.

I really like both branches on West End Lane. The staff are always friendly and enjoying working there, and the sourdough is absolutely wonderful. I also find the vegan rolls (veggie sausage roll type thing) delicious, the first time I thought 'uh-oh' and thought I was eating a meat one in error, but it's just the clever seasoning and herbs (sage and things) - surprisingly great, miles ahead of Greggs!
