Hap Lee Chinese

Hap Lee in Norbury is a very good family run Chinese restaurant that has been present for over 30 years. Up until 2018 the restaurant had occupied two shop fronts, but due to the downturn and increased rates/rent it is now only a single shop front and concentrates more on takeaways. Despite the reduced size of the establishment the food from Hap Lee is as good as ever. I recommend the salt and chilli squid / prawns, seaweed, beef and black bean sauce, Singapore noodles, Kung po prawns and special fried rice. Lovely 😜

After having gone here for years since I lived in the area it's hard to find such a homely restaurant anywhere about. I guess it's true what they say that everyone thinks their local Chinese is the best however this is far from 'local' to me but it is still the best that I'd travel an hour to come here. Can't wait till Covid ends so I can continue eating at my favourite place again

Our family favourite. Have been getting take away from this place for nearly a decade now. Very reliable and good value for money. The preparation and delivery times are also quite nippy. It's good enough for a celebratory sit down dinner if cash is a bit tight as well. Customer service is also very good.
