Excellent pub with friendly staff, £3 on house lager / cider / ale! The garden is lovely and the staff are friendly, occasionally the same can't be said for some of the customers.
Would definitely recommend checking this place out with a few friends on a Friday or Saturday night!

I can only share my experience with the pub, not with B&B. What we like about this place is access to the pool that we love to play and there is only 1pound per game. One table is in more bright area and there is more space so the stick doesn't hit the wall. There is also football table, which is so much fun to play. Soda water available for free, prices of beer very decent. No food served inside the pub, but there is a jerk chicken kiosk in the pub garden, and you can take it inside the pub or eat in the garden outside. Different kind of fellows coming to the pub, but all nice even with a special love for drinks ;-) Generally a relaxing place to spend free time, meet someone for a chat, relax and enjoy the old style of traditional pub atmoshere.

It's good to see the open, and hopefully, over time, more real ale drinkers will visit.
So that another beer can be added.
Nevertheless, I am perfectly happy with the new look pub.

I'm glad to say that the old C and S is back to its quiet best. There' still not a big choice of ales but the rest is good. There's now a pool table too!
Serves food too but check the times.

Freindly staff. Burger ordered (premium chicken) was served as a basic cheese beef burger. And like the coleslaw the chips were cold. The onion rings however were eaten.

Really good place! Nice ambience and economical drinks.Was served by Adam who is a lovely and a friendly chap! Woule go there again!

A nice friendly pub. Very large space. Staff were friendly and manager was great. Well priced beer. Plum vodka was delicious. The pub it's self felt a little male dominated but as two women on our own we were not made to feel uncomfortable at all. We will be back and hope to try the food soon.
