The most authentic, tasty, well presented chinese food in SW London. My favourite chinese restaurants are in based in Soho/Chinatown. But Fortune Cat are just as good and use high quality ingredients within their dishes. Love this place. I'm a regular customer :).

Food is consistent and tasty. Im always ordering salt and pepper chicken with egg fried rice. 10/10. Thank you for feeding me with tasty food.

2023 update: fortune cat has moved to Hammersmith but it's still as good! We order from them every week. Today I was having a quick look at their reviews and was surprised to see just over 3* avg. Now I'm reading a lot of reviews saying something like "we've ordered from here for years and it's always been perfect, but our last order was undercooked so 1*". That's not really a fair. We have ordered since 2020 and never had anything raw yet! My only complaint with this place is they have too few delivery drivers and food is often delayed, that said we are not local!
I'm pescatarian so if food is not fresh I'm the first to know (as is out cat)! These guys do amazing dim sum, really fresh! Also their squid dishes are exquisite. My husband loves the pork ribs (very tender) and any of their mains. While we had to wait some time for our first delivery during the height of lockdown we realised it was because demand exceeded supply so likely a good sign and we've never been disappointed since!

Visiting the area so picked based on reviews. Had a vermicelli dish each. Delicious. Staff also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Ate here yesterday and it was probably the best Chinese I've ever had. Great value for money (starter and main each with a drink £13pp) the tastiest salt and chilli ribs and the main meals were light and full of flavour. Left feeling full but not sluggish and tired like most Chinese meals. Will definitely be back next time we visit London.

I bought salt and chill chips with curry sauce and mixed veg box meal. I must say it was worth every penny. I am very picky and this exceed my expectations after reading the reviews.

We ordered the duck with pancakes, sweet and sour pork and prawn dumplings, everything was delicious I would highly recommend. My favorite were the dumplings.
