Always happy to buy something from Wenzels, north west London's answer to you know who. Often it's just a coffee on a bike ride, but this purchase was for 'better than supermarket ' mince pies. Good pastry, dried fruit- rich filling, and a pleasing ratio between them. Easily acceptable as a Festive offering for a coffee invite from a mate.

Best wenzels around, staff are friendly and competent. Usually go in half the time and get delivered other half. When I get it delivered they always get orders correct following all notes and communicate well if they have not got something in stock.

I go to this bakery often for sandwiches and although I have never purchased their bread, I have always thought it smelt and looked great. The sandwiches always taste fresh and look delicious. My personal favourites are the egg, cress and tomato baguette; the chicken and bacon baguette. I would always recommend getting these on brown as it's not only healthier, but to me the bread is softer. You can always top these off with a meal deal, you can choose a drink and/or doughnut. As far as I'm aware if you have any dietary requirements or there is a sandwich out of stock, they are normally willing to make one fresh (depending on how busy they are).

Always walk down to get a fresh sour dough at the weekend. The manager who runs it takes a huge amount of pride in the store, always running around making sure things are stocked and surfaces are tidy, and takes time to acknowledge her regulars. Credit to the brand.
