Went for a birthday dinner, all our dishes were delicious. As a vegetarian they still had lots of options for me. Halloumi was very tasty. Prawns and chorizo starter was also great. I had the Asian salad and Mac n cheese which was amazing. Big portions and a good Friday evening vibe. We mentioned it was for a birthday and they brought over a complementary pudding with a candle! Delicious cocktails too. Really recommend for any type of dinner.

Have no doubt, this is an excellent steak place.
Small and lively setting (you will need to book most nights). Ribs night Tuesday nights :)
Knowledgeable staff who are all capable of talking you through the pros and cons of different cuts.
Often overlooked because of its location on saint johns road, rather than Northcote road.

Rib eye steak was cooked to my liking. Even with out sauce it was tasty. 4 stars for the food. If you want a bit more peace and quiet then this place is not for you. Its a loud place! Staff served us well.

Really great steak - had the flat iron. Twenty quid for steak, fries, sauce and drink. Yum!

First visit last night and couldn't fault it. Service was friendly and efficent, nice atmosphere and the food is just spectacular. I live in the area and I feel I have just found a new favourite dinner destination!
Footnote: the short rib. Sweet baby jesus it is magic!

Very small, and we was sat next to the door which didn’t have a wind guard so got a little chill at timeS. BUT really nice food. Burgers are BANGING, ribs and steaks are gooooood. And they have good deals. 😛

Delicious steak, properly cooked and very reasonably priced. The staff was also very polite and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is for something extra on the side - we felt that having only the fries and the sauce wasn't enough. A bit of green salad would help.

We were on a birthday outing and were undecided of where to eat until we came across this restaurant. I was a bit hesitant at first but I am so happy we ended up eating here! The food was to die for it was so good! Accompanied by tasty bottled beer which complimented the food. We all left here very full and satisfied!

It's all about the stake! Good wine selection and cosy atmosphere! Unpretentious seating, friendly staff and candle light tables what else do you want?

Great meat! Rib eye, stirloin and the burger all really good and tasty! Reasonably priced, pitty fries are not included :(
