A good traditional British pub. A great place for a traditional plate of fish & chips. Watched England win their Rugby World cup match against Chile, who were responsible for ending Canada's hopes to attend the tournament.

Just a few weeks away from the Rugby World Cup and the Phoenix was the only place accomodating Rugby fans for the warm up games - all while playing soccer and cricket games on other screens - Dog-friendly, pool table, Beers on tap, simple menu and good service.

Awesome tastes..we took share with friend. Tasted very good..gravies were very flavorable and great, just right with chicken, fish and cheese..maybe size is a bit 1.5 persons not 2 friends..kid loved fries..friendly staff..

Very friendly, fun atmosphere. They have changed up the food menu from more traditional pub fare to current trends. I miss the traditional food, but the beer and fun vibe are worth a visit.

Been to this local pub quite a few times and it’s always been really good fun!
They’ve got a good space, outside tables, great for group gatherings, live sport and also have a pool table!
The staff are very friendly and helpful which is great! One of their staff, Archie in particular is very attentive and knows how to serve a good pint of Guinness 🇮🇪
Overall, highly recommended all season around ☺️

The best pub for last two years for me !! They have a pool table, poker night on Mondays, nice music and atmosphere .. Yummy food, friendly staff:) I met a lot of nice people there which became my friends ☺️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️To Archie

Ate here a couple of times while visiting the area. Very nice staff and great food! Enjoyed the Level Head beer too! Really enjoyed having this just down the road from the flat we were staying in.
Would suggest the Steak & Ale Pie with mushy peas for a great English dish option.
