Great fish and chips in the area. Generous portions too. The mushy peas were great but the container did tip over and spill everywhere when I got home, I think less top heavy and non styrofoam container would be an improvement. But yeah, lovely service and would definitely return!

Never been before at payment I realised its cash only I didint have any just card so he aid pay next time. Was only paying through so won't be back but he's such a nice guy.

⚠️ ENORMOUS PORTIONS ⚠️
Had medium cod, small chips and onion rings, it could feed 2 people, am currently in food coma.
The food was DELICIOUS and service was excellent.
Be aware that it is cash only.

Best chip shop. Fish is fried separately from meat. Michael's have been serving the community for over 30 years, would highly recommend

Good local fish and chips shop that has been here for years. Staff always polite. The wait isn't usually long but I haven't been there often in the evening or at weekends when sometimes there can be long queues but that is the case for any decent fish and chips shop.

I would say one of the best Fish & Chips shapes in the area.

A proper chip shop, and the queues out the door on a Friday evening should tell you all you need to know about the quality. Never had a bad chip from Michael's! VERY generous portions, and even with price rises (understandable with cost increases) a "small" fish and chips which is anything but small will only set you back £7 (June '23).

Gotta be the best value fish and chips you will find in London, fried seperate so halal friendly (unlike most).
The special small for £6.50 gets you two pieces of small cod and a good portion of chips. Enough for an adult or 2 small kids to share in my humble opinion. Tastes just as good if not better than many others Ive tried.
Only issue is queues out the door most evenings, another sign that this is the place to go lol.

I had 2 fish and chips both large, 1 portion of scampi and 1 portion of breaded squid ring and I paid 25,40£
Everything fresh and fried very well. Good quality 👌
