Slim Chickens

Nice place. It's very pricey, though, but assume it's the post code. The waiter had a few jokes that weren't so funny. Chicken was salty, and fries were okay. Sauce is nice but quite expensive for one tub each. The lady who served us at the counter was helpful, though. We will probably go back at some point purely because of location to Ormond Street and limited halal food selection in the area.

Food and service was good but if you like mac and cheese do not bother buying it here. When it arrived I couldn't believe they were basically serving what they said is American Macn Cheese! It was macaroni tubes with a cheese sauce poured over it and they have the cheek to call it Mac n Cheese. It's not!! Its pasta in cheese sauce. I sent it back and was refunded. The chicken was fine, not oily and was crunchy on the outside. Overall I'm not a massive chicken lover but to be fair this was ok. I prefer KFC as it has more flavour in the coating.

Enjoyed my wings and strips meal, sauces were good. The drinks fountains had a lot of options blanked out and the Dr Pepper Zero was weak and watery. Five guys and even Burger King drinks fountains are better, time for an upgrade? Have to say the mac and cheese was awful though, had one bite and that was enough as it tasted just like how unwashed sweaty feet smell. Considered complaining but decided to just bin it, baby food mac and cheese from a jar tastes nicer. Would go back for the chicken, but will avoid that slop of a side.

The food is good and this includes the sauces. Service was good too. I would avoid the burgers as the strip's are better value in terms of portion size. A baby mouse was seen running around the place. Unsure if it was already in there or came from outside. Staff got rid of it, whilst other places would have left it.
