Useful art supplies in the basement, not well flagged up or boldly advertised outside. In fact the whole premises has kind of shrunk inwards behind its awnings and looks a bit jaded. That said, it has a good range of stuff that will meet the needs of the average art student or amateur and one or two professionals, with one or two unusual items available besides the standard materials. All in all a good all round art shop.

I love to buy a tea from here and sit at the tables outside watching the world go by or reading a book.
Staff always really friendly, the ice cream is great and the coffee (when I go over to the dark side from tea) is the best in the Broadway.

Got some milkshakes and smoothies from here, staff where friendly and the drinks where really good, shop looks quite interesting too

Patient & kind with torrent of primary school children and go out of their way to bring joy with extra treats for ice cream toppings

The art-shop is great and has all the stuff you'd expect but this place is really about the hot dogs and ice cream for me. They stock Kelly's ice cream which is a personal favourite from many trips to Cornwall and the fully loaded hot dogs are a triumph, with attention paid to every component from the light yet crisp Bun to the generous mozzarella on top. A real treat

I've always loved this place! When i lived in Muswell Hill i remember it caused a bit of a stir with it's "controversial" shop front! They sell ice-cream as well as all the Art stuff! Definitely worth a visit!!

Not just an art shop but it has a diner with lovely vegan cakes! Only down side is these can often be low in or out of stock. Chocolate fudge cake is great!

Place is lovely and full of ideas. I couldn't find more acrylics and most of the stuff I came for. Aside, it's a place with potential and hope that soon, the management will develop the shop. I really loved the lady at the ground floor!
