Jack And Beyond

I went with a friend for the bottomless cake. It cost me £56 (including the deposit to book & bottomless hot drinks), my favourite cake was the monthly special; pumpkin slice and then the vegan chocolate and peanut butter cake. The cakes were very nice but after the first 3 cakes i couldnt enjoy anymore. I had vanilla black tea to drink which was lovely. It was a nice afternoon treat with a friend, in my opinion not worth the money spent. The shop is very small not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. The door was not wide enough for a wheelchair user to get in 😔

It was an utterly delightful experience. I purchased a crumble cheesecake for a birthday celebration. What I particularly appreciated was the ability to visit the shop and see the delectable options available at J&B. This is a refreshing change from "Internet only" shops, where you're unsure about the quality. J&B is a genuine bakery with a wide selection of freshly prepared cakes. Furthermore, the cheesecake was not only incredibly delicious but also so generous in portion that we couldn't manage to finish it in two sittings.

Found this place after seeing it on YouTube and as I was in the area, thought I would go give it a try. The cafe is situated on a fairly quiet street just off the main road. There is a lot of seating outdoors and only a few tables and seats for indoor dining. We opted for the indoor dining. I had ordered in advance 3 sets of afternoon tea sets, 2 sweet afternoon sets and 1 glisten and vegan range. Both were presented quite nicely. The sets come with bottomless hot drinks from their drinks menu, I opted for the pink flamingo and apple and lavender latte. My friends had cappuccino and teas. The cakes, macaroons and scones were delicious, thought very filling and sweet. The vegan and gluten set was almost as expected. They have a bottomless cake challenge and the cakes all look delicious. I will probably try that next time. The cafe is dog friendly and also have a tea set and snacks for their consumption. It is apparently quite popular. Would certainly recommend this cafe to try.

I ordered a cake for my best friend’s civil wedding ceremony all the way from Canada and Jack and Beyond made it so seamless for me. A lady called Sophia was the sweetest and very patient with me as we communicated through emails daily until I placed my order. She was quick, thorough, understood my needs and ended up giving me such a memorable and great cake. Even though I wasn’t able to enjoy the cake from afar (I’ll be sure to go there when I’m in London), the bride, groom and their friends truly enjoyed it and had nothing but amazing comments. Thanks Jack and Beyond and particularly Sophia for delivering such a beautiful cake (we ordered the Vegan Carrot Cake) so easily just through a few touches on my phone and adding your magic to make my best friends day so memorable.

Had the pleasure of being taken to jack and beyond as a birthday treat by my husband … what a hidden gem. We were greeted by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help and engaged in conversation. Selection and quality of hot drinks were amazing. The cakes were mind blowing, healthy size slices with an explosion of flavours. Can’t wait to bring my friends and family. Amazing experience

My daughter and I booked the sweet afternoon tea here. It was delightful and delicious. The macaroons were amazing and the red velvet slice yummy. The tea - my daughter had peppermint and I had earl grey was so flavoursome we asked the brand and actually bought a box to take home. Service was very good, attentive and with a smile! Thank you for helping make a birthday celebration even more special.

Wonderful experience! I ordered the Guinness cake for my daughter's birthday - always a scary thing to do remotely (we live in Scotland) - but the online selection and ordering process was very easy. Her flatmates collected it, where it was ready at the time stated, and while it didn't include the punctuation I'd included, it looked absolutely great. A friend of hers, who is a real 'foodie' and amateur chef, said it was the best cake he had ever tasted. I'd definitely use Jack & Beyond again!

I had a memorable time at Jack and Beyond. I got an oat caramel latte alongside a slice of carrot cake that was absolutely amazing, moist and the right kind of sweet! The lady who served my friend and I was so lovely and helpful with my enquiries. It also wasn’t busy when we went which, with outdoor seating, created the perfect ambience to chat and eat. Would stop by here again next time I happen to be in Battersea!
