Cloudm Bar

Rooftop bar at the citizenM hotel with good gin cocktails and views of the City. However, very little seating out on the 'terrace' which is really more of a long wraparound balcony, so you might have to stand around trying to enjoy your view. On a Thursday night, the place was filled with loud groups there for afterwork drinks - not ideal if you're looking for a date night atmosphere.

Now, here's a great place to round off your day in the capital. With a great range of stimulating places to sit, drink and chat and the treat of panoramic views around the Tower of London, CloudM is for me, the perfect setting to relax and chill after a busy day in the City. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by young Swiss Greg, who really made me feel valued as a customer. I was also surprised at the prices of the drinks that I would have expected to be higher given the venue and its location. I sat outside on a beautiful London evening, of which I hope my photos offer you a taste. I could have sat here for hours sipping and reminiscing with friends, and I will look into hiring one of their meeting rooms in the future. Overall, it was a really lovely experience and one I hope to repeat many times in the future.

This bar is on the 7th floor of the CitizenM hotel next to the Tower of London. The bar has beautiful views of the Tower and balcony is very nice. It does get warm in there when the sun shines in. I only gave them a four star because there were 8-10 people queued outside of the bar at opening time and past opening time. A bar staff member walked past us and then closed an locked the door behind her without addressing of us. Some of the guest tried knocking to at least have someone come to the door to explain why they weren’t open but no one came. We all finally left and went back to the lobby. Someone notified the lobby staff that they weren’t open which resolved the problem.
