Masgouf Edgware Road

I really enjoyed this place. The food was very tasty and authentic, key food highlights were the Masgouf fish, the freshly baked bread, the Baba Ganoush. The tartare sauce was not very nice and the Batata Harra was steamed/boiled but when I’ve had it it’s always been fried. But apart from that it was all tasty. The service was fantastic, extremely polite and professional.

I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the Iraqi Kabab, Moutabel, and the Nan - they were all perfect. The Iraqi Kabab was cooked to perfection and had a great flavor, while the Moutabel was smooth and creamy with just the right amount of smokiness. The Nan was fresh and perfectly baked, the perfect complement to the delicious food. The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout my meal. I appreciated their friendly and helpful demeanor, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Iraqi cuisine. The food and service were both top-notch, and I will definitely be returning for more!

I don’t understand the bad reviews about this place. A friend of mine recommended I go for a Lamb Shoulder and wow !!! That was PROPER TENDER. They serve it with a great rice and nuts and a good salad. I only took an additional hummus as starters. Personnel was great, restaurant is clean and the nice Middle Eastern music in the background was really good. If you fancy a good lamb shoulder this place is BY FAR the best in london.

A warm welcome from Mohammed on arrival and the restaurant was busy which was a great sign. Our first visit and it didn't disappoint. We shared a range of starters - hoummos dip (crushed chick peas, sesame sauce and lemon juice) served with warm pita bread, tabouleh salad (parsley, tomatoes, lemon juice and olive oil) and halloumi cheese (which was totally delicious) and the best halloumi cheese I've eaten). For main course we shared the tradition Iraqi dish, Kabsa (chicken and rice), which was tasty (but the chicken was a little dry). We weren't asked if we wanted drinks but otherwise the service was good and friendly.
