The Light Bar

Went to bar only, didn't have food. The staff were great, very accommodating, polite and professional. Price of the drinks are a bit heavy for what you get here. We have rounds (4 people) of cocktails, the cheapest was £64 including a service fee of £7. Unfortunately you do not get much drink for money here. Even the vodka+lemonades were heavily packed in tall glasses of ice. The guys on the floor taking glasses and getting people to reorder drinks were a bit too eager and not respecting personal space on occasion. Couple of times we were asked if we wanted more drinks when we weren't even half through with what we had. Regardless of these minor complaints. The atmosphere here was good, you could actually hear what are saying to each without having to shout, service was swift and without errors. Would return, maybe even for food.

Tasting menu best food I have eaten in years. Excellent service, especially from Barney. Great cocktails and good wine reasonably priced. Downstairs very noisy bar but upstairs restaurant was not. When we requested the music be turned down they responded appropriately. One of the most enjoyable evenings out in years for all 4 of us.

We hosted a dinner for 55 senior leaders at The Light Bar, hiring the loft for exclusive use. The events team and managers were super helpful and flexible, the food was amazing, the staff were lovely and helpful and made sure everything was as we needed, - also nothing was too much for the bar team. Would recommend for a team/corporate evening.

We had a larger event on the 3rd floor! This was a great place for a large event. The food that was passed around was amazing! I would have ordered any one of those dishes in the full sized versions and enjoyed all of them. The staff was very professional and easy to work with. The bartenders were also great and made some delicious cocktails. If your looking for a venue that can hold a good amount of people, you should definitely consider this spot. Perfect for a party, corporate experience, work outing, or even a smaller wedding.

What a fantastic venue with various options of indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating which is ideal for any occasion! Thanks and praise to the exceptionally talented chef and team is a must - they offered an exquisite tasting menu with 10/10 for food quality and fresh + unique flavours. Additional bonus that the venue turns into a fun spot for dancing with great tunes until late. Overall food, ambience, location, staff etc. is such a vibe. Truly unforgettable event for a celebration!

We had a great dinner at The Light Bar, Upstairs. Dee was amazing! She provided geat service and excellent recommendations, especially the Milk Buns and the Pig Heads Foccacia! The chef, (Sorry, didn't catch his name), was also great. He brought some of the plates to the table and told us a bit more about those dishes. We really enjoyed our evening. Thank you Dee and Team!

We stopped here for drinks and were impressed with the decor and the atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly and served us quickly despite it being a fairly busy night. We sat inside as it was a cold and wet July evening, but when it's dry, the outside space looks great and a good spot for people watching, if that's what you're into! Will definitely return.
