Meatliquor Clapham Old Town

I’ve always liked the MEATliquor restaurants. Always a touch dark inside but a cool vibe. Thankfully this venue has an outside area which is great in the summer. I was here on a Saturday lunch time, sadly it was a little quiet so lacked some atmosphere. The food, as always was great. I had some comments on the Nashville fries, a touch over seasoned for my liking. The staff were keen to hear this and told how to relay my comments onto the head office. I like that, always willing to take on comments. The set up at this one is geared up for sport, plenty of big screens around. I enjoyed my lunch and I will be back for an evening of drinks whilst watching a game.

Really nice place to eat. Decoration is superb, although it was a nice day so we decided to dine at their garden. Very kind, friendly staff. Food was superb. Burgers are nicely cooked and sides are very filling too. You can choose for the burger to come with the bun or wrapped in lettuce. Totally recommend it!

We decided to visit meatliquor on a Sunday for a few relaxed drinks and some food. Our experience was made so much better by our server, Rainer, he was apparently one of the supervisors and we could tell why. He was attentive and good at spotting when we needed anything else. His service found a great balance between feeling looked after without an overbearing server watching you the whole time. Food was great and we will definitely be returning

Group of 8 of us to watch the rugby and generally have a good time. We had a very good time! The screens are everywhere and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were impeccable and tolerated our increasing levels of ‘enjoyment’. Really asset to have a sports bar in SW4 and add in the banging food it’s an absolute joy! Thanks team
