Panton Yokocho

One of the best ramen bars I’ve been , reviews seem mixed but I really loved it! Staff were super nice and gave me an extra serving miku mat to take home when I ordered the miku meal . To be honest it wasn’t anything super different but still really delicious and made my day to come across! I loved the atmosphere especially and all the dishes me and my family got were wildly different and tasty , reasonable price for what we got!

Wonderful! Enjoy visiting the Japan Centre often, came to Panton Yokocho for the third time for dinner on Sun 22nd Oct ’23 between 6pm and 8pm with my sister. Beautiful selection of Ramen, my favourite is the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen from Fukuoka, it was absolutely delicious, the broth was stunning! The decor and interior design of the restaurant is transformative. You really do feel you are in Tokyo! Thank you so much! Tillie Khristie

I visit every-time I’m in London and the food is always great, really love their ramen specifically the Spicy Tori Paitan Ramen if you like spicy food. The service however isn’t as great as before. It takes a long time to get their attention, place an order or to even ask for the bill and it wasn’t a busy day when I went. I’ve had better service before but hopefully it improves going forward.

Came in for a quick bite, was surprised to see how spacious this noodle bar is. It’s great not to see table crammed in against each other. The noodle was good. I thought it would be a quick and cheap bite but the service took awhile and the price is just the same as you would expect anywhere else in London. My partner went for the vegan cheese ramen. For me, it’s bizarre. It’s just a tomato spaghetti with too much sauce.

We loved the food and the atmosphere couldn't be better. However, as tourists that never visited this place before, we were expecting to have staff take our order and we were not given any indication that you had to place your order and pay scanning a qr code. When we placed the order, the staff just served our food and that was it. Kind of a cold way to treat a customer.

We were sort of reluctant to visit Panton Yokocho because of the ratings on Google, but we still decided to give it a try. 🍜 The food was really excellent. Ramens were great, there's an open kitchen and you can chose toppings, firmness of the noodles, or even ask for extra noodles to finish your broth. Chicken karaage was also very tasty, well marinated and crunchy. 🍣 The Salmon Poké was also very tasty, and with a good quantity of salmon too! 🇯🇵 Very nice atmosphere, pretty quiet, with lots of vintage japanese decorations and popculture references. What a place! Loved the details. 👨🏻‍🍳 As for the part that, in my opinion, is why the restaurant suffers from some bad reviews - the service. We were greeted pretty nicely by our hostess but, once we were seated, we were left on our own for about 10-15 minutes. There's a QR code on the table so it might be the reason why no waiter came until we asked twice for someone. Once we ordered, the food came very quickly. But we felt very unwelcomed by R...sh, crew leader working that night. At the end of the meal, when we tried to redeem a discount we were eligible to (TheFork app), he tried to deny us the discount by stating that only set menus were eligible for TheFork discount - which turned out to be false. Ultimately, R...sh did apply the discount, but battling on the check is never a nice way to end an evening... ⭐ I still put 5 stars because 1. Food was great - and affordable for this part of London 2. Everyone can have bad nights and we're human - so maybe the crew leader wasn't in his best mood. 3. The crew was really nice, especially the incredible José that pretty much saved the evening with his positive attitude, great service, and way of presenting the plates !

Really surprised at how enjoyable this place was! Walked past the moving noodle bowl many times and decided to go in with a friend. The decor of the restaurant was fantastic, super fun and added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, big portions and good value for money! I would only drop a star because of the service, our server was rude and abrupt and wasn’t personable at all. The gentleman who brought our food though was great!

Very atmospheric place. Authentic Japanese food with the music, decoration and style. Food is simply delicious. We have had different dishes and all of them were melting in the mouth. They provided an outstanding service whole night long. Honestly, even after being in many Japanese restaurants this one remains in top 5 list.
