Kothu Restaurant

At Kothu Sri Lankan Restaurant and Bar, an evening of culinary enchantment awaited us. My wife and I, alongside our friends, were greeted with exceptional hospitality, each member of the staff exuding warmth and professionalism. The fish curries, a medley of fresh, succulent seafood bathed in meticulously crafted sauces, were a testament to the island's rich maritime bounty. Mutton curries, tender and infused with aromatic spices, painted a canvas of flavors, each bite a journey through Sri Lanka’s culinary landscape. The lamb samosas, a crispy embrace of succulent, spiced lamb, were nothing short of a masterpiece. Kothu isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience, a journey through the soul of Sri Lankan cuisine.

Very tasty food. The medhu vada was too oily but the rest of the things we tried were very good. The service is fantastic by the two waiters that were there on a busy Saturday night (yesterday). The lamprais that our friend tried was spectacular and a huge portion as well. The portion sizes are decent. My wife found the food to be a bit too spicy but we could always ask them to adjust spice levels. All in all a very good restaurant. The service I must say is the one that got them the 5th star from us. 😊

Must Try Cheesey Kothu! If you’re looking for a tasty Sri Lankan Restaurant, definitely visit Kothu! Great vibes, great food, great price. They do a variety of appamms, dosai, Kothu, biriyani.. lots to choose from. We asked for spicey food and it was actually spicey for once! Definitely one of my top 3 for Sri Lankan restaurants now. Plenty of seating inside even though it looks small from the outside. I will be coming back.
