One of the best Sunday roasts we've had in a while! Everything beautifully cooked, great value, and service was pleasant and attentive too. Personally I prefer the more "traditional" pub feel with slightly tatty chairs but the inside is actually done up very nicely and has a modern feel. Nice garden out back in the summer and they do daily deals (looking forward to trying All-you-can-eat wings Wednesday!) Great addition to North Finchley!

We read some reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. We went there midday on a Thursday for my husband's birthday so there weren't many people at the time but the place looked very nice and clean. The staff at the bar is very friendly and easy to chat with and the drinks are really nice. Small but good selection of tap beers, and they have a nice list of cocktails and are not too expensive. We didn't try the food, though, so I can't comment on that. We live in the area, and we will definitely come back again. This is a bar that serves some attention!

A slightly different take on the British Pub. They have clearly made an effort to make it more stylish and upmarket. A more modern look, the dark grey painted wood panels and wall paper contrasting with the white ceilings. The food overall is better than your average pub and the service is great. They also have salsa classes every other Tuesday if you're into that. Starters of bang bang shrimps and pan fried padron peppers. The shrimps were excellent. Main: 10oz sirloin steak with hand cut chunky chips and peppercorn sauce. The sizzling steak served on a planxa was delicious, of good quality and very well cooked. The chips, however, could have been better. As a dessert, chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake, adequate for the place. In brief, a modern looking pub, the food better than the average, with good service and reasonably priced. Definitely a 4* for a pub.
