Black Salt

About as good as it gets. While the whole of London crumbles at the knees, no wait, ankles of dystopian capitalism (overpriced mundane sh!te everywhere), Black Salt stands loud and proud as a !!!!ing good viable alternative and it's an absolutely blessing to have this place round the corner from me. By far the best coffee I've ever had (I'm not lying or being pretentious), I'm addicted to the kimchi cheese on toast (my god - try it) and there's always good music to be heard here. Come and cleanse your soul. Zero waste and vegan ethos probably freaks out the odd customer - better believe it's the way forward and it's a pretty obvious way we can all chip in and subvert current day idiocy.

Great vibes in this cosy cafe. Had a very tasty hot chocolate made with melted chocolate. Lovely not to have to worry about accidental dairy, like in most cafes. Also had the most delicious plantain dish with sriracha. Super tasty, generous portion and a great value for money. They were very helpful when discussing allergens. Will definitely be back for more!
