The Pie Bar

Cute pie shop with alcohol (and happy hour). Stopped by to grab some dessert for a dinner with friends around 7pm on a Thursday. The employe was super friendly and helpful in answer ting questions about what was popular and what he liked. Opted to grab the salted caramel as well as the key lime. The salted caramel was generously salted and very decadent. The key lime was not too sweet and more on the sour side, which I liked. Portions were on the smaller side but you could still split with one or two people if you get a couple of slices. Metered street parking is available. Credit cards are accepted. There are a couple of small tables inside (no outdoor options) but the place primarily seems to be a takeaway spot. You can order slices as well as whole pies, in addition to pie jars, which are deconstructed pies in a mason jar. If you check in on Yelp, you get 10% off your order.

I'll start by saying my lack of photos can truly paint a picture on just how absolutely delicious my pie truly was. I was pleasantly surprised by the whiskey peach pie. It was very light, flakey pie crust, with a delicious peach filling made for a perfect after dinner dessert. This was my first time visiting and the young lady was extremely helpful. I was torn between flavors and had no clue where to begin. I joked about needing a pie flight and to my surprise, it exists. Although I didn't sample the flights flavors I did sample my partners salted caramel slice. In my personal opinion it was a little too rich for my taste but if you have a sweet tooth like his, you'll love it. Being disabled and using a wheelchair on days im unable to walk I find it hard going into hole in the wall places because of narrow doorways. I had no trouble fitting my chair through the door and was able to actually enjoy my pie slice in the pie bar. Everything was at eye level from my chair and I had ample space to freely move around. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying more flavors. Customer service was very personable which made visiting here more enjoyable and we left with a positive experience. If you have dietary restrictions they also are accomodating to suit both your vegan and gluten free diets. Don't forget to get a nice glass of wine to pair with your pie slice if your dining in .

First time trying their chicken pot pie (frozen & made daily), and it was definitely great. The dough was so flaky and the filling was so creamy and flavorful, it reminded me of my mother's. Price is not an issue for me if it's that good. They also have personal size one of you don't want a regular. But if you get the regular, it feeds 2 and still have some for later. Their desserts are equally delicious. Definitely try it as well. You won't be disappointed.
