Dave's Burgers

Trying something new. A jumbo cheeseburger. But it comes with a twist. It adds a hot dog on the top. Nothing spectacular but above average. Definitely filing, reasonable prices and the throwback Chex soda was an added bonus. California burger in the sunshine will never be a bad combination. A few tables to dine at but they fill up quickly during peak hours.

Yes, yes, yes indeed!! This is another old, school, SoCal gem! Roadside burgers, hot and fresh, off an old menu. The burgers are delicious, the fries are done perfectly with a light dusting is seasoned salt and you pull your own coke out of the cooler. Dave's is visible from the street, and it's *in* the parking lot of the gas station on the corner of Atlantic and Wardlow.

A great little place to have a cheeseburger, hotdogs, etc. Simple and delicious. However, and I say this because I am a critic when it comes to food, but in a good way. I find that most food establishments strive to improve their business based on customers sudjestions, and feedback. So, here are my thoughts: I think the sauce could be thicker: adds more flavor to each bite, more seasoning on the meat, and more options to what can be added to your cheeseburger. Overall, I am satisfied with the taste and the quick service provided. That is pretty good in my book for a place run by two people. Good job!

Not a bad place, but the patties were bland. I make burgers at home with bison and regular ground beef quite often so I'm familiar with texture and taste. These didnt seem to have much flavor, no season, they also seemed a little stiff.I ordered the Jumbo Double Cheeseburger and asked for them to go light on the lettuce. The fries are basic, but fries always good with a burger. I'd possibly stop by again ONLY if I'm in the area.
