El Pollo Loco

This El Pollo Loco was the third my wife and I had drove to because the other EPL's didn't either have the sides or chicken. As we drive up to their El Pollo asked politely if they had available all the sides. Martha the drive thru person answered yes. So I began my order. A 3 piece and a 4 piece with sides the had. Each time she repeated back my order I struggled to hear. She got the sides wrong, so I repeated my order. Finally I apologized and told Martha it was hard to hear her. She then began to yell through the speaker. It was embarrassing and rude. She sounded very frustrated. Initially we were very happy to be there because my wife and I wanted El Pollo Loco. I felt scolded for apologizing to her that it was difficult to hear her. I am super polite to anyone who is preparing my food. I will not take any chances. That's why I am sharing this after the fact. Juan came to the window. Martha would not even look at us. Juan was very polite and courteous. Juan deserves accolades. We didn't mention anything to Juan about the incident. We paid and went home. The chicken was okay. A bit dry. No seasoning. I now feel it's better to just buy a rotisserie chicken from Walmart and make our own side then to go to another El Pollo Loco. You live and you learn.

Ordered online, when i got there at 1pm the doors where inexplicably locked. To the confusion of myself and other customers we where waiting outside for a while until a CUSTOMER let us in. Revisited a few days later, same thing. Locked doors, no explanation, no signs. A customer had to yell and say "drive through only". Really long line and i was late to get back to work. And they offered no apology. Too many chances, will not return to this location. I don't blame the employees. This is a management issue.
