Ward's Restaurant

Super fast service. Most of the food is solid. Fries are somewhat bogus and unseasoned. The sweet tea alone is worth a trip. Excellent quick stop for something above fast food. Huge stickler on gravy and it's passable. Not going to blow any minds but worthy of a stop if you are in a hurry and need a greasy bite.

Let me preface this by saying I love wards. I remember when they first opened this location and I used to eat there all the time. Now that my office isn't over there any longer I really get that way so it's been years since I ate at this location. The quality is subpar compared to the Biloxi location and considerably less than Wiggins location. The restaurant was dirty and in desperate need of updating. That being said if you're looking for a cheap chili burger you can get lunch for about $8 here vs $20 at the daiquiri shop on Jeff Davis.

It's a Mom-and-Pop hamburger chain. I use the drive thru Regularly to get breakfast on my way to work. Most days they are quick and efficient; since everything is cooked-to-order, if someone in front of you orders large, you get to wait. I've spent as long as 15 min in line - patience is key. The food is fresh and we'll seasoned, the staff is friendly, The prices are reasonable. Overall, I give them an 😋 8 of 10! 😋
