Diddy Riese Cookies

Went onto yelp craving cookies, and stumbled upon Diddy Riese. I saw pictures of cookies so I just assumed it was a cookie store...little did I realize it was a popular ice cream shop once I saw the line haha. We ended up getting cookies (snickerdoodle and chocolate chip w/ walnuts) and a shave ice. The cookies were good and satisfied my craving. Shave ice was standard. I do think their ordering is a bit inefficient. They should have a different line for folks who either want just cookies or shave ice. They would be able to go through lines a lot more efficiently. Cash only that day with the credit card machine randomly going down, which was a bit annoying. Street parking only.

WOW! I really enjoyed their cookies and Ice Cream Sandwich. It was so delicious and for a great price, it’s worth it the visit here! Just keep in mind that is can be empty of people, and in just seconds, it full get too crowded with a long line outside. It’s very popular in town and I loved it. I tried my whole Chocolate Macadamia with Pistachios and Almond Ice Cream. Thanks to MAX, the guy who took my order, who’s bilingual, speaks in Spanish too, helped me for my first time ordering there.

Top Left to Right and Repeat to next aisle Sundae with Rocky Road, shaved Ice blue raspberry, chocolate chip cookie with cookie dough ice cream, chocolate chip cookie with cookies and cream, Chocolate chocolate cookie with strawberry cheesecake and chocolate chocolate cookie with coffee ice cream Everything here was delicious ice cream was creamy cookie was kind of on the hard side I’m guessing it’s made that way to hold up the ice cream, raspberry flavor not water down, the SUNDAE appearance on menu looks big but in person is small. No dine in you walk in and you walk out. This place gets super busy so be there early, it’s about 5-15 minute per person order depending on what you’re getting. There is parking meters outside and a parking lot on the side I believe $10 a day. In TOTAL I spend 30.50 here

Best cookies on earth! I even flew straight from Munich, DE to LA just to taste those amazing cookies which my brother always mentioned. I went straight there from the airport. For only a small price, you can get so many cookies. Diddy Riese himself is still running this business, he was the nicest guy alive. And those Sundaes.... a dream. At the end of the day, the also sell leftover cookies for only half the price. These cookies deserve all the hype in this world, and also are valid the looong queues that build up in front the store.
