Roscoe's House Of Chicken & Waffles

Never a trip to L.A. without Roscoe's at least once. Best waffles hands down, chicken thighs, Mac & cheese and I don't eat Mac & cheese usually. Make it a sandwich and dip in their original hot sauce! My son gets the sunset drink which is pretty much dessert. Great servers all around this Saturday and my sister has lived around there for a while and agreed! Best waffles & chicken! Thank you for your great service!

Used to come to Roscoe’s often, but this latest visit did not hit all marks like they used to. We had the classic fried chicken 2 piece and waffles. The waffles were delicious, but our chicken was overcooked and dry on the outside. The flavor was okay, but even fast food options like Chic-Fil-A, popeyes, and even KFC have better flavor and texture. The 3 hot sauces on each table help, but not enough for a 5 star experience. Potato salad was bland and unsalted. Sunrise drink (fressh squeezed orange juice and lemonade) was delicious. The service is quick, helpful and friendly though.

Food was great! Chicken and waffles were fantastic! ☺️ a soulful family diner kind of place! Staff were very friendly and food campy quick! Would come again! My one challenge was trying to request no dairy as I’m lactose intolerant. The server or someone else didn’t fully understand as I still got fresh butter on my plate. I love butter but not I can’t eat it 🥲

Great waffles! Omg the best, seriously!!! The chicken was a bit too crunchy/hard for me. Service was not good. It was busy, but she still didn't even bother to take my order until 15 minutes after being seated and then it was difficult to flag her down for my check. Everyone in her section had the same issues. Will definitely be back for waffles and coleslaw!
