Morton's The Steakhouse

This was one of the best group dining experiences I have had. We had a private room that was very intimate and we heard no outside noise. The food was amazing with a great balance of flavor. I was full by the end and the wait staff was very nice and helpful. Came back for dinner and still had an amazing experience that tasted good, had quick service, and tried the new desserts and cocktails. Bread Pudding is huge and tasted amazing with the ice cream. The crab cakes are big and taste fresh and are well balanced with a small salad.

It's a classic Steakhouse with decent steaks it's not awesome some of their seasonings are okay. Their happy hour's pretty good, good drinks the service is excellent and they will get feedback and adjust the menu based on your needs. It's a go-to place very old school. A solid place if you want a decent meal. Downtown parking is a bit of a challenge they don't have valet parking very often, so I end up parking in one of the paid Lots.

A rare New York Strip plus steamed jumbo asparagus is a staple at any Morton’s outlet. However, the steak was oversalted on that occasion. A well-stocked bar, a relaxing interior (except that it was dim), and acceptable service made the meal satisfactory. The central downtown location was a dining plus.

I was downtown with a friend shopping and we decided to pop into Morton’s it was 5pm and we were the first people there. We sat at the bar for cocktails and bites. The bartender was fast, friendly and knowledgeable the food and cocktails were excellent as you would expect at a restaurant of this quality. They have an amazing happy hour The Power Hour! We were dressed a little casual as we were out for the day and decided to just pop in and without going into full detail I got some very rude comments from the doorman. It’s 2023 and LA is a little more casual in general! plus the restaurant has a pizza and coffee fast food chain on either side of it and a lot of scary people outside. While I would never go in dressed as casually for a dinner in the main restaurant……maybe it’s time to lighten up on the dress code for happy hour at the bar. Don’t want to make that part of the experience the entire review as the food, cocktail, decor and service from the bartender was 5 star excellent!

Andrew the bartender is the best! Service is consistent and very tailoring to each customer. The food is amazing. Sometimes I come just for the mushroom mix, but the lamb chops are the best when I want meat. The burger..,, forget about it. Seldom do I give. 5 star rating but this one deserves it, from the delightful appetizers :crab cakes , bruchetta to the wine selection which is astonishing and the main course, steaks, tomahawks to rib eye are so perfectly grilled it Leaves a heavenly taste I wish I wore a pants one size bigger to accommodate this culinary gastronomical feast . Shout out to the competent staff & crew esp to Francesco who’s charm match the service & lastly the chef Angelo who reigns supreme not only in the kitchen but from now on in our hearts
