The Wee Chippy Venice California

You will be hard pressed to find a fish and chips place with as fresh and as hearty as the offerings here. The choice of seasoning and sauces are a nice touch. I would recommend the garlic and the smoked as they make the fries taste outstanding. Their tartar sauce is also fantastic with the right tartness and not overly creamy. The service is pretty slow as it is both popular and only two or three people running this place. The service wasn't friendly and having a surcharge on credit card is discouraging.

Yeooo this place has no business being as good as it is bro. They change the oil every day so everything’s fresh as HELL!!! They have vegan sauces! & if you’re vegetarian, it’s definitely worth going just for the fries. I can’t summarize how much of an impact this place has had on my life. I would have this as my last meal, if possible. It’s so damn fillllling!! I can never finish a full thing in one sitting. For my friends in need of accessibility, the platform to the street is flat/continuous :) There’s plenty of seating with views of the beach! Limited (paid) parking, but duh… it’s Venice beach. Anyway .. The workers are dope af too . The black girl who be on the register is goated. She once even had my order memorized like??? Iconic.

PROPER CHIPPY LIKE BACK HOME came to this spot out the blue passing on late night walk on Venice had the munchies big time so When I came back few months ago I spent 2 hrs looking for Scottish chippy Was about to give up then I spot a Scotsman who said I know that place and hey presto I found it 🥳🥳🥳🍻😎😎😎😎⌚️ Need battered sausage please Love the homemade coleslaw wow

So we decided to check this place out for fish and chips after reading many positive reviews , I really liked their classic fish and chips , I got my order quite timely and fresh ..fish filets were crispy, balanced in flavours , quantity of fries were good too , but somehow I didn't like the area outside the shop to sit and eat , so location and atmosphere was No for me , but definitely its great if u take away

Being vegetarian, I never thought I'd ever eat fish and chips. But when I saw there was a vegan option, I immediately ordered it. One of my companions tried it and said he almost couldn't tell the difference between that and real fish. So this place is doing something right. You get four pieces of "fish". The texture was excellent, the crunch was perfect, and the fries were superb. We got a mix of garlic and jalapeno seasoning for our fries. We also got ketchup and ranch for the dipping sauces. You also get a small side of coleslaw. I would highly recommend, 10/10!
