Jinya Ramen Bar Mid- Wilshire

I frequent the Las Vegas location often, so I was very excited to find out that there was one within walking distance of where I was staying in downtown LA. I tried the LA ramen because it was an exclusive menu item. I forgot to ask for the egg boiled hard, and the broth had a very strong lime taste (but not in a good way)… Which I’m assuming attributes to the theme of the ramen. All in all, the place was cool, I should have stuck to what I know, but I am still glad that I was able to try an exclusive item while on holiday. Would definitely recommend them to everybody visiting in the area, passing through, or just in general. I also got an order of the Gyoza, and those were so FRESH and so delicious!

One of the best ramen spots I’ve been to! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re vegan/vegetarian you’re going to LOVE this place, they have so many selections to choose from that I had never seen at Ramen restaurants. The service is amazing, quick, and very accommodating! Ideal for a quickie, solo, casual or on the go.

I ordered the Flying Vegan Harvest Ramen and the Impossible Bun. They were both DELICIOUS! I would definitely eat here again. The host who sat me was really nice. He ended up being my waiter too. He forgot to replace the corn with bamboo shoots, but he apologized and brought it out along with fresh garlic after I reminded him. 🙏🏽 I was annoyed with the bartender/waitress cuz I had been waiting for a while to place my order and then she ended up serving a guy who showed up way after me. 😒 His food also came out before mine. That’s the only reason for the 4-star rating, otherwise, I would’ve given this place a 5 cuz the food was so good. The host/waiter apologized for the delay.

Went with my husband for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place wasn’t crowded at all. We were seated right away and our server was super kind and attentive. She gave us some great recommendations and we tried the crispy chicken and tempura shrimp to start off with and both were delicious! The ramen is some of the best (if not the best) we have tried especially since we don’t eat pork, we felt like there was a lot of options here. Can’t wait to go back!
