Modo Mio Cucina Rustica

Modo Mio is a wonderful Italian restaurant that I highly recommend. The cuisine is expertly prepared with a perfect mix of flavors that will leave you feeling satisfied and delighted. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area of Pacific Palisades and has a lovely atmosphere that is perfect for a special night out or a relaxed meal with friends. One of the standout dishes at Modo Mio is the lasagna. It is one of the best lasagnas I have ever had, and I highly recommend it. The layers of pasta, sauce, and cheese are perfectly balanced and create a delicious combination of flavors and textures. Another must-try dish is the gnocchi. The gnocchi are simply to die for, with a light and fluffy texture that is perfectly complemented by the rich and savory sauce. The sauce is expertly crafted, and you can really taste the high-quality ingredients in every bite. If you're looking for something lighter, the salads at Modo Mio are also excellent. Discovered this place through a friend of mine and after trying out their Gnocchi I knew I had to come back. Their sauces are incredible and the tagliatelle bolognese absolutely gorgeous and, apparently, made in house. What a treat. Dont shy away from their dessert either, the tiramisu is by far the best you can find. Also special mention to the staff who's always top notch.

My son says, "the food was delicious and the people were really nice. They gave the kids a lot of care and stuff. Say something like that." The rest of the table agreed, a fantastic meal from the plates to the service. My favs were the calamari, asparagus soup special, bruschetta, tagliatelle verdi, and lemon cheesecake. The owners and waitstaff made an excellent meal into a fantastic one.

I really liked this restaurant, so when I lived in Los Angeles and returned after a 4-year absence, it still has my heart in it. I have never had pasta before, but this time I decided to try Pasta, how can you make tasting pasta just so delicious. Delicious chicken fried in oil in delicious juices with fresh mushrooms and an amazing sauce. Super is the only thing I can say. I wanted to get Tirmisu but since I was full of Pasta that should be another time. It may take a few minutes to get in as it is a popular holiday destination and well worth the wait. The waiter was so personable and fun and attentive. I hope to always go to Bossanova when I'm in LA. The best thing is they are open until late and they serve! Whaaat!
