The dankest dankness dojo I’ve been to. Toured their beers and loved basically everything I had. The art and just the fun on the walls made a great place to chill. Hope to come back ASAP. Great job Modern Tomes in making a great spot. Go here if you get the chance.

Amazing beer, especially if you like hazy IPAs! The food was amazing and it is all plant based so a great option for vegans and vegetarians. The beer is on the expensive side, especially if you do the 5 oz pours but it was so worth it. A great stop on a visit to DTLA and definitely going back the next time I am in SoCal! Wait staff was friendly and efficient which is a plus as well. Did not try their coffee but I hear it is just as good as the beer!

This is my one of my goto places to take (and impress) local friends and outoftowners alike. They vegan menu is a plus for many, but the food is standout awesome without that fact being at the forefront. The craftsmanship of everything at the Dojo (can I call you Dojo, babe?) is 100% delicious. Your senses are tickled by the high concept kitsch, your mouth charmed by the libations, and your stomach courted with each freakishly good bite of one’s meal. You will binge and you won’t care. It’s a “kind” meal and damned good one.

I have been drinking your beer for years. Really rad finally come to a place that actually makes it. I was able to get coffee beans, a mug, and some really good beer. Went on a Monday night and there was still a great deal of people in there. Staff was awesome and knowledgeable, would love to come back here when in town. I just wish they could have food at this place like the original brewery, I have seen the menu and was hoping to try some.

Great spot. Went on a Thursday around 630p, service was good, food & drinks were great! Beer cans available to go, highly recommend Pills Ice for the summer heat, very refreshing. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Crowds were mixed and some on a date night like me too.

July 2019: Double double tasted better than last time. I think it was the brioche bun that made a big difference. For some reason, they didn't offer Onion rings. Only fries. Also tasted the chorizo burrito and it was excellent. I can't believe all the food is vegan. Anyway, still five 🌟👍. November 2018: Still love coming here for the double double burger. July 2018: Still 5 🌟. Love the IPA options here. Beers rotate often. Service is great. The double double burger is still my favorite. 😀 May 2018: Great 🍺 and food. Tried a few that are only available in their tap rooms. All were excellent. Wish they would open one in San Francisco. Note that the food is an all vegan menu. I didn't know that and am not vegan. But everything was surprisingly very good and tasty. Would come back for the 🍺 and food. Service was wonderful. Staff is super friendly.

Definitely pretty busy on the weekends and hard to get in. My husband loves all of their brews, especially their IPA's. Their menu could use improving, not many gluten free options. Fun environment overall and decent service when you find a spot. Just glad they're vegan.

Cool spot downtown, fantastic beers always on tap and to go. Food is all vegan and as a meat eater I've found some of the dishes are quite tasty. Parking in the lot next door or across the street. Good coffee selection as well.

Great place to go if you are a vegan or have a vegan friend because the entire menu is vegan, so nothing to worry about there. And the food is tasty and enough to appease more omnivorous friends as well. They also brew their own beer which is delicious and varied in taste. The down shot, and why they didn't get five stars is because there's nothing besides beer to enjoy.

The menu here is incredible! Whether you're an all vegan posse or in mixed company, you can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The service is also really attentive and thoughtful. For a place that hasn't been open (in this location) for very long, it's really impressive how smoothly they've set up their systems for seating, serving, etc. Everything was running super smoothly when I visited on a crowded Saturday night. The space itself is also gorgeous. Tons of interesting art and super cozy tables and booths. This is the ultimate date spot for vegans and craft beer lovers!
