Exotic middle eastern food that are hard to find elsewhere. They have some unique Egyptian dishes that every foodie must try. Their dessert menu is just as unique. There is a lot more than just baklava and some middle eastern dessert that you find in other middle eastern restaurant. Our server was very nice and attentive. Will go back to this place again

HUMMUS, HUMMUS, HUMMUS., As you will see in the picture, we did a giant BLIND Hummus competition. All told we had 14 from around the city (including some home-made. And Dahab Hummus was a near unanimous number one. Food is also great here. Their pita bread is a bit mediocre. it's the only not-so-great thing here. So my recommendation is to order the hummus to go and pick up pita bread from Bibi's on Pico or Lodge Bread Company and THEN, you will have gone to Hummus Heaven. We are self-proclaimed Hummus experts. We hail from Israel and we have searched far and wide. Dahab is the best. PERIOD. END Of SENTENCE.

Food is authentic and absolutely delicious! BEST garlic sauce, tomato soup and chicken shawerma that I've EVER had! (And I absolutely adore garlic and tomato soup!) The shrimp is pretty excellent as well. Customer service here is pretty exceptional! They're very kind here and treat their regular customers very well. We're willing to drive a total of 40 miles just to eat here (20 miles there and back). If I lived closer, I'd want to eat here every day!

I've been eating at Cafe Dahab for many years. While I don't smoke hookahs, I do love their Egyptian middle Eastern food. Their lentil soup, which is made with carrots also, is delicious. Excellent hummus, and I like a lot of different types of hummus. The people who work there are very nice, and the ownership has consistently been terrific. Outdoor seating and late at night it's a fun place. They're open very late every night. Highly recommended!

Delightful little gem I’ve always driven by but never went to until recently. Had a great dinner and hookah with friends for my wife’s birthday. The Dahnab feast is a plate of amazing grilled meats that were delicious. The hummus is fresh with a nice touch of tomato salad on top. The hookah was nice and tasty with a slight body buzz. The waitstaff was nice and attentive and always checked on the coals. The Turkish coffee was amazing and a great way to finish off dinner.

My favorite place in LA! Food is outstanding, 2 skewer plate is delicious with lots of little extras middle eastern style. Owners are working or hanging here all the time so they really keep a great vibe. Only wish (which is likely impossible since hookah is considered smoking and is such a contested thing in LA) is I wish they had a location with a sunset view of the beach!! — never going to happen as hookah places are very few and far between on the Westside, but for hookah smokers is 10/10... I would come here for the hookah even if the food wasn’t good. Great that the food IS good, makes it so my non Arab non hookah smoking friends will come with! Love this place!
