The Original Impellizeri's Pizza

This place is so delicious!!! The restruant is really nice. The staff is also very friendly and the pizza is absolutely delicious!!! It's the best pizza I have ever had in all honesty. I come here on work trips all the time and I always come here at least once while I'm in the area. The bruschetta is a must try. It is so good. We get it every time. The Cali Pizza is also delicious. It's a summer special though so try it while you still can!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!😊

Liked this pizza. Very cheesy but, the crust was still crispy. Sausage was a bit blah but, it was excellent with pep. My daughter grabbed the gluten-free and loved it. Service was good and we had our food quickly, even though they were filling an 80 pizza order (they let us know, in case they were slower than usual). Pretzel sticks and beer cheese were good. Tomato and burrata was good but, it was not burrata (moz). All in all, definitely worth a visit but, a little below my top tier.

(Full disclosure: we're from the Northeast, so starting off--any pizza praises sung west of the Susquehanna should count double. Doubters should refer to my profile picture.) Ventured downtown for a stop here, and went for the thin crust margherita pizza. Fresh Roma tomatoes, fragrant basil, garlic and olive oil...phenomenal. Open-air patio seating available. Fun space, great service and food. This is Louisville's award-winning pizzeria, and now we know why!

We stopped here after Thunder about 30 minutes before they closed, and with eight people in our party. The host was welcoming and ushered us into our table with just a five minute wait to clear a table. The staff was friendly, explained the menu, and keep our glasses refilled (important after a full day in the sun watching the air show). The beer cheese dip and bread sticks were gobbled up in seconds and the pizza was delicious. Only negative was that the pasta on the menu was not available due to the late hour. The place was fairly crowded but not loud, I would recommend a stop here for a bite to eat.

Great food and great service... what else do you need? The bread sticks were crazy good. The Sampler pizza was amazing! The crust has the crunch you want with fresh ingredients and a homemade sauce. I'll definitely be back. My two teenagers that were with me said it was awesome! That's saying something right there...👍

The service was good and attentive. The pizza had a nice crisp yet airy crust. The cheese was quality and plentiful like a pie should have. The sausage topping was excellent in texture and flavor along with the onion and mushroom tasting fresh. I felt they went slightly too heavy on the sauce as the sauce is quite robust. Overall a good pizza in a comfortable environment.
