Marketplace Restaurant

Cannot say enough good things about our experience here. Everyone was friendly. Old fashioned was made PERFECTLY - Manhattan was also very good. The ambiance is elegant but welcoming. Definitely give Marketplace a try on your Urban Bourbon Trail adventure. I wish I could remember our waiter/bartenders name, but he was also very kind and knowledgeable about bourbons. Experiences like this one are reasons why we continue to return to Bourbon Country.

We happened upon this quaint restaurant. We opted to sit on the patio and have a few drinks and listen to some jazz, after visiting with the hostess Missy. Missy is an amazing hostess and took extra time going over the menu with us. We will definitely be back. If you have any questions ask for Missy.

Prices are decent. Desert was delicious. Ordered the Chicken cordon bleu, it looked different than what I expected, but turned out to be really good. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were good too. The menu is limited and specific but plentiful. While I just had water they had soft drinks and unsweetened tea. Classy restaurant yet inexpensive. Patio is really relaxing as well if you prefer to eat outside. Service was fast and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Would return.

We used the Marketplace for our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding. At first, I got aggravated as there was a lack of communication on their part. However, despite the delay in responses, everything was figured out in time for the dinner and everything was executed exactly as we planned! The food was delicious! Several of our guests have mentioned this to me several times since the dinner. And the venue was beautiful! We rented the back patio area under the pavilion. I was a little nervous having a dinner outside in June, but it turned out to be wonderful! They were very accommodating and helpful the day of! I would definitely recommend the Marketplace for an event!

The food was just okay but the customer service was amazing. I had calamari as an appetizer...it was very pale and unseasoned. I had chicken as my entree, it was a little dry and under seasoned but the kale and yukon mashed potatoes were delicious. I would go back because the customer service was great and I met some amazing people.

Before Show Dining We frequent the Palace and are always looking for new restaurants to try and this was no exception; however, I tried to reserve a table in the past and they go quickly so this time when I ordered my Palace tickets I made our dinner reservations at the same time and we were not disappointed. With all the construction there was a parking advisory but since we had a 5:30 dinner reservation we were able to park very close and since the restaurant is mere steps from the Palace we opted for dessert and coffee following our meal which had us at the theater in plenty of time for the 8:00 performance. When I made the reservation I stated that one of the party was vegetarian and our menu selections reflected that request. The vegetarian had a starter of roasted vegetables and a gnocchi main dish which were excellent! The meat lover of the party enjoyed the poached egg salad on smoked salmon starter followed by lamb shank main course. We shared a pear cobbler with coffee. Everything was exceptional, even the coffee. Our server was attentive and the level of conversation was very comfortable. We are already planning our next visit.

Absolute exceptional service. The atmosphere and ambiance is wonderful and relaxing. Beautiful lighting. Waiters and host, all wonderful. My partner and I came last year also for our anniversary and the chef remembered us. Our food was nothing less than perfect. I can't say enough good things about this place. I wish we had one in TN. We will drive 2 hours every year just for the experience.

What a great experience! We just had a phenomenal lunch here! My fiancé had a delicious juicy perfectly cooked steak with smashed fingerling potatoes that were perfectly seasoned. I had the lobster tacos, they were awesome too! Strange to say that the most well cooked lobster I've ever eaten came in 10 dollar taco meal! But it's true. These people know what they are doing in the kitchen! For dessert we had a chocolate orange cake with vanilla bean Gelato and candied orange peel garnish. One of the best desserts we have ever eaten. The candied orange peel was such an unexpected treat! Our server was super attentive and treated us like million dollar tipper even though we had lunch specials. Overall....Amazing!!!
