City Barbeque

We picked up our order and brought it home to eat for Thanksgiving. I have never had smoked anything. WOW that was the best turkey I have ever had. I will always buy turkey from City BBQ when I have any kind of outing or get together. We also got a few side dishes too. They were excellent also. We got corn pudding of which I have never liked and CB's was very good. My husband and both went back for seconds. My friends all had been telling us how good CB is and they were absolutely right. I will recommend CB to everyone. They are #1 in our book + I didn't have to cook. That makes it even better.

Went in for lunch. Reasonable prices for BBQ sandwiches and sides. Hefty portion of beef biscuit. The bun was a little greasy where it was handled. Baked beans were flavorful and had chunks of meat inside. Lemonade sweet and tart! Perfect. The dining room is an open layout so you are not sitting too close to the neighboring table.

The food here was phenomenal! I haven't had some ribs that good in years. The meat just came off the bone so easily, and the sauce was a perfect combination. The sides I had were greens and Mac n cheese, I didn't like the mac n cheese so much, but the greens where like grandma used to do them! My girlfriend had the pull pork sandwich, which was great as well! We'll be back here for sure!

Ordered the bbq brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese. Weather was great and used the patio outside. Our food was served warm and was quick. The Mac and cheese was ok, it was not as creamy as I thought it would be and borderline dry. Brisket was great tho, it was moist and tasted great and did not disappoint. I tried 3 of the bbq sauces but honestly their wasn't much of a taste difference so I ended mix all 3 of them. Overall, it was good

Stopped by City Barbecue for lunch. The food is excellent! Portions are huge and everything we tried is delicious. We had the smoked chicken, pulled pork, green beans, collards and cornbread. The absolute best part of our visit was meeting Gypsy, one of the employees. Her customer service skills are amazing. She is friendly, knowledgeable about the products and made us feel like visitors to her home. Anytime we are in this area we will stop by!! Give it a try if you are in Louisville.
