The service was fine other than the chef having a bit of an attitude when I asked if an order was mine and couldn't hear due to difficulty of hearing. It's a small place. Nice atmosphere for most part. Family member found hair in their food.

Lonnie's is amazing. The test the flavor the texture it all just perfect. They are so nice and kind hearted. I work just down the street from them and I always stop every so often to get something to eat. I normally just pick something random off the menu as it's all good to eat.

Always love Lonnies. Great Chicago food. Only thing I don't like is that they have a sign up for the little league baseball team from Chicago that went to the little league world series but was later disqualified for cheating. A new albany team wasn't able to go to the little league world series because of that

Pricey but worth it. Go get yourself a Italian Beef. Delicious. Illinois delicacy. Lol. Lonnie and wife are so friendly. We enjoy going there....and the food is so yummy.

I can’t even put into words how absolutely delicious these were. So much so that I finished them in the parking lot, went back in and got 2 more 😩
The owner Lonnie and his beautiful wife of 42 years were so warm and welcoming.

Very good chili cheese dogs made by Lonnie himself. Family run business and very friendly hotdog was tasty but of course, sloppy to eat as one would expect. I enjoy the crinkle fries and they do have soft drinks, but no sweet tea and no free refills. I thought the price was very reasonable for my lunch. I look forward to going back again with a few friends for lunch.

Lonnie's is a great little gem in Louisville. Its no frills atmosphere is exactly what one would expect of a hot dog joint. Lonnie is always playing a great soundtrack of blues, Motown, or funk music while he's cooking. The food is delicious. Authentic Chicago dogs and Italian beef. I have heard from others that their hamburgers are good too. If you want some comfort food or hanker for a Chicago dog, Lonnie's is the place.

I'm from Chicago and visiting my brother in Bardstown. I had the Italian beef the first time I came to visit. It was great both times. Hardly any good beef places near me in Chicago Found one that's ok. Wising Lonnie and Diane continued success will come again when visiting my brother Rich

I had been looking for some place local that has a great Chicago dog. I happened to spot this place one day driving and not listening to my GPS. I told my wife and kids about it and we made it a point to stop in and see Lonnie. We were not disappointed. I am all about supporting small businesses, and Lonnie will be getting more of my business.
