Properly seasoned food, actual flavor!! I routinely go to the Shelbyville location but this Hurstborne location dominates. The Shelbyville food is very bland and flavorless by comparison. This place makes great food, go support them!!

I was really impressed with this place. The lunch menu was diverse, and I loved the pulled pork bowl I got. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. Never had an empty cup! We plan to return again very soon.

They have some of the best authentic options as well as your typical westernized Mexican that we all know and love. Staff is excellent and they have a patio.
Try the Molcajete, bean soup, poblanos, and tamarind margarita.

Great food but the service is what makes this place special. Has quickly become our go to place for lunch Ruben always greets us with a smile, knows our order and makes sure we are in and out quickly!

I love the carne asada meal here and order it every time. Service and food is prompt, so we didn’t wait long for the food to arrive. The Atmosphere is so-so, nothing outstanding but who cares when the food is sooooo good And prices are fair. Nice little unassuming Mexican eatery tucked away in this plaza.

The food was very good. My only complaint was there isn't an a'la cart menu. I'm a small eater so ordered from the kids menu of 3 choices and they add a $3 upcharge. If I was a child I would get a free drink with it. As an adult they would charge for a $3 drink. The salsa we loved, mild or warm. The 2 servers were friendly. I give it 4 stars for the above reasons and the music was a bit loud but try it, bc the food was good!

The service was great, smiling host when we arrived and our server was very sweet. Food was okay, we got churros and could tell they were a bit freezer burnt BUT the drinks were amazing and the entrees were good, too. I didn’t like the shrimp tacos I got but I summed it up to personal preference over anything else because they did taste good. My boyfriend ate his burrito with no complaints.

Small place with HUGE flavor...maybe the most authentic Mexican food I've had since we visited New Mexico a few years back...I was working in this area and happened to find this absolute gem...I will be back even if I have to drive 2 hours, it's that good!
