Ollie's Trolley

Good food, great service, and if you haven't had the opportunity to swing by and grab yourself a burger and fries from Ollie's Trollies then it's a must. It's a super quick well sometimes its not so quick due to the long line, but that should just be another reassurance that it's a good stop when you see the line stretch through the parking lot. But it's super quick service and cool feel of ordering from an old train trolley I can assure you that it won't be your only time you stop in at Ollie's. So make sure when your in the area to go grab you a burger and fries and find ya a little place down on the river front to enjoy your food and you will for sure be satisfied.

Oddly enough, I’ve been in the area all my life and just found out about this place. It’s been around forever, serving up burgers and fries out of a trolley. It’s takeout only and cash is the only acceptable payment. And the burgers are fantastic. One of the best burgers I’ve had. The fries were money too. A must stop if you live here or just passing through.

The line, of course is the only bad thing about the experience but, you can make some new friends while waiting. Anyways, the burger was amazing! The gesture of the beef and the flavours of the sauce. The fries are well seasoned. Eat them while they are smoking hot. Once they go cold, they don't taste good. The only minor complaint was, my burger had a piece of a latex glove stuck to the edge of the burger. It had blended into the cheese. I had to take apart my burger to make sure that there weren't any other pieces left.

Ollie's is an institution in Louisville! Incredible burgers, and the Ollie Fries - OMG! The seasoning is indescribably delicious! And the Ollie Sauce on the burger is out of this world as well. DON'T mess up the burger by getting anything else (ketchup, mustard) on there. Experience the burger the way it's meant to be, with the Ollie Sauce! If it's open, Ollie's has a line, so be prepared. You WILL spend some time outside, waiting in line, but it's so worth it. Only about 4 people can fit in the small foyer to order. It moves fast though. Cash only, so come prepared for that!
