Went with my mom for dinner early on a Tuesday night. She likes it there and so I had high expectations, but was let down. We got the calamari appetizer, which was fresh, well-cooked and tasty. She got the pecan trout and at every bit! I got the sea bass and only ate half; it was way overcooked. My mom was served cold coffee and so we had to send it back. Then, after 20 minutes, we had to ask again about the coffee. Service was lax, food was sub-par, and the prices are very high. Juice ain't worth the squeeze, in my opinion. Glad I tried this place, doubtful that I would return.

My cedar plank salmon was excellent. The picture does not do it justice. Stewart went above and beyond as our server, and on Thanksgiving. It was a busy night. Although the place was full, I was pleasantly surprised the 5 people in our party could hear each other.

Had the pecan crusted trout. Was a little overdone on top. Also had the creme brulee which was very good with a nice crisp sugar crust

Everything we ordered was great. Hot, fresh, nicely plated, service was on point each time and very friendly. My only complaint is I'd like a little less spinach on mine and I wish they had salad dressing I like (maybe I'm just picky)

Service was slow. ALL of the drinks were on point. Lobster bisque and clam chowder was delicious! My filet and her lobster were overcooked, but were corrected promptly. Relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely return

Mitchell’s Fish Market is a chain seafood restaurant. For seafood it is moderately priced, efficient full service. We sat at the bar table not realizing, one of the 2 bartenders will have to wait on you. There’s are at least 8 tables and 15 bar seats for 2 people to take care of so the service when busy is not the fastest or most attentive. That would be my biggest complaint but the restaurant is usually not super busy. However the food is always fresh and tasty. We had the spinach dip and crab cakes as appetizers. They both were a pleasant surprise. Not salty. Fresh crab and a delicious sauce. I ordered the sea bass with ponzu and sticky rice. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I could put these dishes against any top notch high end seafood restaurant anytime. The salmon was also just as good. Sea scallops were very fresh and sizable. I had the white sangria also and it was a refreshing happy cocktail. Worth the money and good enough to still give it 5 stars despite slow service.

Little pricey, but the food was awesome… Andy, our server, was helpful and very attentive. The decor is simple, and could be a little more interesting, but tasteful and clean. Like we said, the food was awesome… The Muscato sangria was excellent per Andy’s suggestion… Will definitely return.

For the first time in 28 years of marriage I said to my wife "Wife, I don't feel like cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year. Let's find a place to have dinner instead." So the wife, ever the resourceful one, starts looking around for Thanksgiving dinner options. Ultimately we settled on Mitchell's because they offered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but also a number of seafood options (and that made wifey happy). We'd also never been there, so there's that as well. We made our reservations on Open Table and it was a good thing, because when we got there the wait list was already 20 minutes deep. After checking in we took a seat in the bar to have a drink while we waited for our table. Right after we sat down Andy greeted us and took our drink orders. I had a Truth IPA (Rhinegiest) and the wife had a mimosa while we checked out the menu. I had pretty well settled on the Thanksgiving dinner and wifey was trying to decide what seafood entrée to get, hoping to minimize the amount of time ordering once we get our table. Andy came by a few minutes later to check on us and we told him that we were waiting for a table for dinner when he said "You know, you can order here and have it here in the bar." Wifey and I looked at each other and thought "Why not? We already know what we're going to order and we'll get it faster in here". That made the decision pretty easy. From the time we ordered our meals it was, maybe, 15 minutes before our food arrived. I was VERY impressed by this, given it was Thanksgiving and the place was p-a-c-k-e-d. The food was excellent. We both had Caesar Salads ahead of our meals and it was probably the second best Caesar we've ever had. (I hold all Caesar salads up against Outback). When our entrees arrived everything was perfect. Wifey had some kind of shrimp and something else thing, I had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. There was A LOT of food on that plate! My wife loved her shrimp-and-something-else dinner and mine hit all the right notes. It was NOT cranberry sauce from a can (thank you for that!), and the stuffing had a unique but very savory taste. It was everything I was wanting without having to cook. The staff at Mitchell's this day was HUSTLING. From the bar tenders to the servers to the people bussing the tables, everyone was 100% on-the-go keeping the food moving and the restaurant clean. You may think it would be noisy sitting in the bar, but it wasn't. There were a few televisions with some sporting events, but the volume wasn't up very loud. Our first visit to Mitchell's was outstanding, especially given it was for Thanksgiving dinner. Andy was excellent as a server and I'm sure he, and the rest of the staff working that day, easily got their steps in that day. And a Thank You to Mitchell's and the staff for working on Thanksgiving. It was great and very appreciated.

My first time in and I’ll say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Not crowded at all which probably contributed to the excellent service but I was with large party. The service was friendly, efficient and correct. I think everyone appreciated that- large or small party. The food came out hot and was plated well. The dining experience overall was very nice! They did a great job. Didn’t get five stars bcz there was a salad snafu but all in all, I highly recommend.

The food was delicious. I had the market trio which came with salmon, shrimp and crab cakes well. My wife had Shanghai seafood sampler... Let's not forget about the jumbo as a starter was on point.
