Outback Steakhouse

In town for business, always love going to a tried and true establishment. Outback always hits the spot. What I wasn’t expecting, though, was the excellent service. I had Moon, and I thought he did a remarkable job. Funny, personable, quick with the refills. I’ll always go back to Outback, but he set a high bar for service that I don’t see another server beating for a long time. I’d give six stars if I could.

Was pretty slow upon arrival but we did get there before noon on a Sunday. Service was quick. We were in and out within 45 minutes and that was even with feeding 2 kids (ages 2 and 7 months). Food was great though money and my oldest daughters fries could have been cooked a minute or 2 longer and seasoned just a little better. We kept stealing my 2yr olds fries bc hers were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Everyone else seemed pleased with their food. I got a chicken sandwich (can't remember the name) but it didn't seem to have much sauce like I expected it to have but could have been my misunderstanding of the description as well. It had a decent taste just not outstanding. My husband's pasta came out with very little Alfredo so he requested more to add to it. It was finally delivered 20 minutes later once he had nearly finished all of the meat on it and much of the pasta as well. However what he did have left and brought home, he said was amazing warmed up the next day. All in all, I'd say the food and service were fine but nothing outstanding. I would assume that's why it wasn't very busy while we were there if many others have had an underwhelming experience. Not bad, just not the greatest either.

Our server was Sarah. She was very polite, funny and could take and give joking with. The food was excellent. I hadn’t been in an Outback for years because of military service and it brought back good memories from my last Outback visit in Nashville. Thanks for your H/R people for hiring Sarah. What a delight.
