Moby Dick Seafood Restaurant

Went there twice recently, got the Bratwurst one time and the Whale of a Sandwich the next both were just like I remember them, nice n yummy! So are the Hushpuppies I like a lot of tarter sauce and they have an ample amount always available from the dispenser near the tables - wish they had one for mustard for bratwurst. But I loved it! It is in a nice spot you can sit at window counter and watch traffic go past. They have one of those old City of Louisville posters which are fun to look at.

11-28-22 about 2:25pm: Inside still closed to dine in but able to come in and order. Wanted to try something not back home and had good reviews. I tried the shrimp and fish combo along with cheesesticks. Lady at the counter was helpful as I've never been here, being from Dallas and here for work. Shrimp was great. Fish was good. Fries were lukewarm so meh. Big hushpuppie was ok. Cheesesticks were ok. Sweet tea was great. I'd recommend the shrimp and a sweet tea personally.

The food has gone up even higher then the already outrageous price it was before, but the service there makes up for having to spend a few extra dollars. A million people could be there ordering something to eat and still you're in and out quick. They are on it at for real when it comes to getting your food together, because not only do they get your food prepared quickly, it's always right

The fish speaks for itself. The kid working was trying so hard. I'm not sure what the woman cooking's job title was but she could have been a little more informative and helpful to him as he learns instead of being short and mean. He needs guidance and to learn how to keep that food excellent. Not someone calling him out all the time.

Delicious! Feels like stepping back in time here, I imagine this place looked the same in the 70s as today! Friendly workers and clean place. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. My only complaint would be they still have covid precautions like it's 2020, so the dining room is closed, plexiglass and signs about covid everywhere, seems unnecessary in Sept 2022. We took our food to go and it was all great. The fish while deep fried isn't greasy at all which makes it delicious!
