Bussmann Bakery

We started not to come here because of recent reviews on customer service. But I'm glad that we changed our minds. The gentleman that helped us was very kind and patient with myself and my indecisive child. He was also very nice to my toddler. Doughnuts and cookies taste amazing! I will most definitely return!

Great bakery , my family has been using bussmans for about 45 years plus, for all of their sweet needs. We came from out of state to visit family in Louisville and bussmans was definitely on our list of things to do. We had a great experience, donuts, everything Tasted great, however customer service is mediocre The daughter of the owner who helped us, is kind of unpleasant her customer service skills could improve, Maybe it was just to early in the morning. Otherwise great.

This place has been in my heart (and stomach) since I was a child! My family and I are from Illinois... and my great grandma lived right around the corner. Growing up as a child whenever we would come down and visit great grandma we would always come to Bussmans! Now my family and I live down here and this place is just as much of a treat then as it is now! This bakery is family run and has at least 4 generations... and has been in my family for 4 generations! Must try: cream filled anything and their chocolate Danishes ! We also love the butter kuchan (spelling?) Such an amazing place and it's always a great start to a day! Anytime I go to a family visit.. I better bring some Bussmans! Garaunteed to be the belle of any ball!

I am writing on behalf of Zelkova Strategic Partners, LLC. It is time for our first annual Donut Day, and we wanted to have a competition to decide which local bakery had THE BEST DONUT. After indulging in a smorgasbord of pastries for two days, the ballots were counted and the results were in. Bussmann's Bakery won by a landslide!! Common praises were: the donuts were fluffy, not too greasy, well balanced sweet, and just overall a very delicious donut.
