Vis A Vis Restaurant And Hookah Lounge

Wanted to relax an enjoy a nice drink an a bit of food. The chicken tenders were a nice price an seasoned well. Came out really hot but where so good an paired well with an Angry Orchard. I ordered a hookah but never got it an unfortunately had to leave, the took it off since I never got it an I only payed for my meal an drink. The music was a good chose an the people were really nice, will definitely have to go back again.

Great abiance perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Amazing food. We’re so glad we picked Vis à Vis for our date night/ first time visiting Louisville. We came here for dinner and expected typical bar food but got delicious middle eastern cousine instead. The lamb chops were on point 👌🏽 They also had a variety of more American foods on the menu as well. My husband loved the stuffed mushrooms. Great portion sizes for single plates and tasty cocktail drinks too! The owner was very friendly + accommodating. We ordered hookah after dinner and decided to spend the rest of our night here rather then go to the other places we’d had planned out for the night. Probably the nicest hookah lounge in town. Not run down interior or trashy atmosphere you see at other places. They also have a live dj on the weekend, I wish they played a little middle eastern music too! They were great about coming around and giving fresh coals and making sure everything was burning nicely. I wish we lived closer, I could see this place becoming a regular spot for my husband and I. Plus I’d love to try the whole menu. I was sad to see this place wasn’t more popular. Great place to try out if you love supporting local family owned businesses and love a multicultural experience.

I visited on a whim - My husband happened to see it from the road and we stopped in not knowing what to expect. We were visiting Louisville from out of town. We stayed for quite some time. The DJ was great - a great mixture of island/Soca and current hip hop music. The hookah was great. I ordered a margarita and it was a bit sweet, but all the other drinks we had were great. Our server was great. The atmosphere is very chill and laid back - more like a lounge feel which we loved. We would return if back in the area.
