Frisch's Big Boy

It seemed like we were more of a nuisance than a customer. I heard the waitress say oh it's my turn when we walked in the door and she seemed distracted as did most of the servers. The food was good though the table needed to be cleaned not a big deal a party probably just at the left. My small group did not feel rushed to leave which was good and the waitress so distracted or seeming so did a wonderful job at taking our orders and making sure that we were taken care of but the finer detail of seeming like we were a nuisance is why a three. Also this was on Super Bowl and the place was empty.

I love their breakfast bar! It's got (almost) everything. Since I'm a self-appointed grits connoisseur (assuming that's possible, even in the South), I hereby certify that "Frisch's Big Boy knows how to properly cook grits." (The, er, "CB" down the street is clueless on that item, but they're not up for discussion today. ) At Frisch's, the servers are always friendly, the food tasty, the portions plentiful and the price is fair. I sometimes meet clients there for coffee, knowing that we'll get a clean and well- situated table. Last time I looked they had a 100% rating on the door from the county health dept.

Great service. The manager stop and check to see how we were doing. He let my daughter exchange her meal for something she preferred when she picked something she disliked. The manager ask my son if he wanted dessert. He said he wanted a blizzard from another restaurant and the manager made him a special dessert for free.

A pleasant, quite experience, with good service and good food. I have been going to Frisch's Big Boy since I was a kid. I don't get to go offten, but I do enjoy a Big Boy on occasion. I have never been let down by the food or service. A good burger, good prices and good service. The hamburgers aren't their only trick. I don't think that I have had anything bad there. When I go, I remember eating out with my mamaw when I was a kid. Brings back memories.
