We had a great night with terrific food: soup, veggies, enchiladas, and tacos. All were great. Spice levels vary so ask ahead if you are sensitive.

My Father ate, not me, so his thoughts. Vegan daughter happy to see him enjoy. Great ambiance, superb staff, neat to see a roster of upcoming Jazz shows. If COVID fears, go on a Monday evening and feel quite secluded in a booth. As ever- would suggest an entirely vegan/ gluten free option on menu for me. :]

My husband & I came here for the first time & LOVED it! Food & drinks were amazing, service was so good & quick, and we loved the outdoor seating! We will for sure be visiting again!

Had an amazing quick lunch with the beautiful Noelia as my server. She was so attentive and kind, really adding to the overall relaxing lunch experience I had today. Sol Aztecas also has the best salsa in all of Louisville! Highly recommend and ask for Noelia!

Maria was amazing! I treated my mom to dinner for her birthday and Sol Aztecas showed us a great time. The margaritas were delicious and presented beautifully, food was amazing, and they gave my mom a tequila shot & birthday song on the house!

This is my first time at Sol Aztecas. I have driven many times by it and never stopped. Today, I was feeling like eating Mexican, and Sol Aztecas didn’t disappoint! They are under new ownership. I had the pleasure of talking to the new owner; a young guy named Amet, that used to be a server at the restaurant. He bought a failing restaurant during the pandemic and has transformed it into a thriving restaurant!
If I had a check list with me of my experience it would have a check mark next to each item.
-Fresh chips and delicious fresh salsa
-Cheese dip with shrimp to die for
-Arroz imperial with chicken: a delicious Cuban dish
-Strong skinny Margarita with orchid in top
-Quesadilla de steak with fresh salad on the side
Staff is friendly and smiley and always attentive to your table.
They have a beautiful patio that transports you to the beach!
Run to Sol Aztecas! You won’t regret it!
