The shopping is fine lots of selections to choose from and they have a great food court. But be careful as there was a shooting here a while back. There is a security presence that they didn't have before. The mall posts that concealed carry is prohibited but I'll just say be prepared anyway. Enjoy the mall!

My parents built house in 1961 on Judge Blvd I grew up seeing Okolona grow. I Helped​ open the Mall (Built 77)early 78 worked at Brooks Fashions out of New York ran various other stores. My First wife worked at Red Cross Shoes in J Mall. (It’s not there now) . The Mall and everything has changed from it’s opening it didn’t have a Food Court nor was there a Roses or a Overstock or a Bowling location, we’re Roses is at that was an entrance like the one on the right front with shops as you walked in on both sides. As you entered the mall you would look to the left and see JC Penny’s large front entrance like OverStock at other end but nicer. In front of it was a sunken place were you could seat down with plants around it really nice that is all gone once they but in the Roses and other stores ? I guess that is progress. But I miss the way it was.

Santa was so Amazing!! Gene is a 93 year old WWII veteran who just lost his wife. I'm his caregiver trying to keep him busy with the happiness of Christmas... Santa was so sweet!!! he was heartbroken when he told him of the loss of his wife..Santa's kindness made him smile and remember the joy of the season!! The only reason I give this a 4 is high picture prices!!!! stop overcharging for a picture!! We know it can be cheeper!! or we can DIY..your cheating families out of memories...at Christmas!! shame.
