Ponderosa

Open this place back up!!! I've been here twice on trips through the area and it's a great Ponderosa. I'm so sick of corporate forcing franchises to shut down etc. People love Ponderosa and they get lots of business. If she some on charge can't get with the program we need to reopen or open across the street and we exactly the same just a different name or play on the name! I'm sick of them trying to take my Ponderosa away!

We had a wonderful dinner. The only problem was we ate too much. There was a great variety of different foods to choose from. They have the best ice cream machine. It reminds me of my childhood, getting custard in the country where my dad grew up, in Whitesburg, Ky. I've never found any place else that has it in Louisville. The people are always friendly and offer helpful service. Keep it up Ponderosa. We will always come back.

Better for breakfast on the weekends. Not bad for lunch or dinner on the weekends. Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. Three types of potatoes, hash brown casserole, tater tots, and fried potatoes. Biscuits and gravy was awesome. Many breakfast sweets and also regular soups and salad bar in case you don't want breakfast. Service was friendly, cashier was attentive. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Ponderosa brings back many fond memories of growing up. Was my favorite as a child and still is as a adult. Their steaks are very tasty and tender. If you've never tried their own steak sauce then give it a try it's very good. The buffet has many options anywhere from meats to salad to soup to dessert. Staff is always friendly and down to earth. Overall a great place to eat.

This food is so good that my family and I literally drove 40 mins to get it! The price makes the food taste even better. It was about 9 dollars per person (not including drink). It's all you can eat style is perfect for my family's different preferences and tastes. There are also many dessert options. Highly recommend, esp if there's many of you in a group!
